The main design element is the use of black-and-white-checkered squares. This is immediately evident in the porcelain tiles covering the floor of the corridor and the kitchen. Due to the large expanse covered with such a pattern, we created the effect of an optical illusion.

The space is divided by arched and rectangular openings instead of doors. This creates an enlarged, flowing space with a kitchen area, living room, dining area and gallery area. The kitchen is minimalistic, light blue, and uses a variety of different lighting scenarios

The armchairs and a table in the dining area are vintage. Above them is a pendant lamp with adjustable height.

The photo session of the apartments took place a year after construction was completed, so the viewers can feel the life of the room, the comfort of home.

One of the goals was to make the living area contain a minimum amount of furniture which can be adapted to different uses – particularly aimed at easily reorganizing the premises into an exhibition space. In 2021, the exhibition "Kvartirnik" was held here. The modular sofa changes its configuration and arrangement, creating different zones.

Bathrooms are done in white. One of them has niche shelves with LED lighting. There is also a separate washbasin-area lighting and overhead light.
